Moving house
Came home to boxes and more boxes. See the thing is there we have to move. We have until October 4th but the sooner we get out of here the better. We currently live in a rundown fibro house. The worst house on the best block. Anyway the owners want to build duplexes here which will please the neighbour to no end. LOL. Have been looking at rentals and amazingly there is nothing near big enough for us 6 and cats to fit in. 3 bedroom homes could work if they were spaced out a bit but most of them are in a little box where noone has room to move let alone breathe. If I actually found a decent house it has no yard. Can you imagine having 4 kids cooped up indoors a lot. I assure you it would drive me and them absolutely bonkers. So the hunt is on for a decently priced 3 or preferably 4 bedroom house within a reasonable financial amount that actually has a bath, a yard and a working kitchen. Sorry have had a few bad experiences with one or the other of those before. Then the next question is do we stay local or move to a nearby suburb. I need to keep the kids at their current school until December when Dash (aka Child 1) finishes primary school. Diego (Child 2) and Punky (child 3) will more than likely be changing schools anyway and Hagar (Child 4) is too young for school yet. Ahh decisions decisions!
Sundayitis
Welcome to Sunday, the day where nearly every week we sit and ponder what we shall do for the day. Where is the local market today? Is there anything exciting happening we should know about?
There is a new market not far from us that has been advertised so we thought we would go check it out. What a big disappointment that was. I guess I should have known that a new market was still getting up on its feet so will reserve any further judgement until it has time to attract potential marketeers. We then travelled to the inner city where we happened upon a market ion a local school. Geez there are some uppity people selling crap in some of these places. 2nd hand toys selling for above $30. Umm hello I could buy that for $30 brand new. I love trawling markets but need to find some new ones as the ones I know are now pretty dull.

16th July 1981
I was just a little girl aged 5 on this day 30 years ago. I had celebrated my birthday 2 weeks before with my mum, big sister Rebecca who was 8 1/2, my big brother Damion who was 6 and my little brother Darren who was 3. The day had started out like any other school day. It was my first year of school and I was in Kindergarten at Canley Vale Public School. My brother Damion was also in Kindergarten but he was in another class. I remember playing with Damion at lunch and my sister reminding us to wait outside the Kindy rooms for her to pick us up and we would all walk home together. My mum would normally meet us at the crossing around the corner from our home. Come 3:00pm we started walking home, we came to the crossing and my mum wasn't there. I found out later that Darren was asleep so she didnt want to leave him. Damion was a cheeky kid and decided to run across the road without looking. Big mistake. A car came around the corner and collected him. He died that day aged 6 years. I remember the day vividly and have never been able to talk to anyone about it. I was expected to deal with it as everyone thought I was too young to understand. It never really hit me until I was 16 when I was doing all the teenage things. I wonder how Damion is these days? Does he look down upon me or is that all crap? who knows but I do know this I miss him like crazy!!
About Me
Hmm what would you like to know? I'm a woman of average stature, well ok I'm only 157cm tall.
I like eating Italian food so much I could live on Spaghetti Bolognaise and a nice lasagna or pizza if that was all there was on offer. I live in the burbs of good old Sydney town with my hubby and 4 little cherubs who light up my life. My eldest is about to embark on the journey to high school in 6 months. OMG where did the time go? back to me, umm I am blind as a bat without me specs or contacts. I like spending time reading and this is what I do to relax. I enjoy scrapbooking but dont have the room at the moment so am looking forward to finding some more time and room to continue.

First things first
Well I have finally decided to join the many people who have a blog. I've followed a few peoples blogs and must say they make for interesting reading. Not sure what I will blog about but will say it will probably be pretty random stuff. Funny stuff, interesting stuff and maybe even what's in the news and of course a few random vents will make an appearance. Sometimes I will just write whatever is in my head so if it doesnt make sense I apologise now. I dont sugarcoat things most of the time so it will be an honest opinion you read.
